Buyers Guide Looking A New Laptop
Are you buying
your very first laptop? Not sure what to look out for when you are buying your
first laptop? Well, it wouldn't hurt to read the buyer's guide. Looking for a
new laptop or a laptop contract in UK can be rather complicated. There are different brands,
specifications, colour and design to look out for.
When you are
buying a new laptop, the most important thing to look out for it not the brand
but the specifications. I am sure you know that different laptops have
different specifications ranging from processor, RAM and hard drive. Even the
softwares could be different.
So ask yourself,
what specifications are you looking for? Do you want Windows Vista or Windows
7? If you want to have a speedy laptop, you will need a lot of RAM, perhaps 3GB
or 4GB of RAM. Hard drive capacity is usually 120GB but you can get a laptop
with 320GB if necessary.
Most of the
laptops are light but there are some laptops especially heavy duty laptops that
can be heavy. Make sure you get a laptop with suitable weight so that you can
carry around easily.
You can get cheap
laptops in UK but cheap is not always the best choice. You can get a basic
laptop but if you need a laptop for work, you should get the best specifications
for work, which would cost more than a basic laptop. That should not be a
problem because it is a worthy investment for your career. Even if you are a
student, getting a good laptop is important as you won't have to constantly
upgrade your laptop.
The truth is
laptop is very much different from PC. You can upgrade easily for PC but when
it comes to laptop, it is rather limited.
It is getting
easier to enjoy a cheap laptop. You don't have to spend hundreds on a new
laptop. In fact when you sign up for a contract, you will get to enjoy a
free laptop complete with mobile broadband (for most contracts) and a free
dongle.
